As much as we love drilling out material for you lovely folk to have a gander at, we do take a break from time to time (sorry folks but we’re not automatons). So as the BritFilms clan were browsing through the web for our own intentions and munching on a chicken cob, Jezman stopped in his tracks at seeing these three little oddities.

Jez’s first comment to me after seeing this was: “Lad, what the feck is this?” Personally I didn’t have a clue. It seemed too staged to be real footage of some poor soldier, but it did bare a likeness to the Neil Blomkamp’s live action ‘Halo’ sequences that turned up a while back. Of course the chances of that getting to the screen are now dead and buried *sigh*.
Another possibility was ‘Cloverfield’. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anymore of JJ Abrams’ top secret film project, and with the mention of genetic altering floating around the upcoming cinema mystery and Private Pistol here getting a jab in the neck and turning into a commando in a matter of seconds it could be something along those lines – but then again we could just be taking wild stabs in the dark.
Jezman also pointed out that it could even be some sort of wink to a Bourne prequel, for those that saw ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ the whole thing looks awfully familiar to the interview flashbacks our lad suffered throughout the film…
Being the nosey folk that we are, we couldn’t help but post a comment on one of the videos asking for the so called ‘712A12’ to give us a bit more info on the whole thing. Low and behold he/she did get back to us, emailing us in fact with this a brand new clip attached.
What the fudge is going on? Whatever it is, we’re keeping a very close eye on it.
