Mr. Sci Fi’s current project ‘Avatar’ may still be 18 months away, yes 18 whole months (eta is May 2009 if you’re wondering), but we’re already hooked.

The plot synopsis for ‘Avatar’ goes along the following lines - in a distant future we discover the planet Alpha Centauri B-4. For the few humans who are lucky enough to set foot on this new planet they nickname it 'Pandora'. Yes James yes, this reeks of Aliens kicking human ass yet again - come on!

Dumb humans, if they didn’t learn their lesson after 4 Alien films and countless other space horror films then they deserve what they get.

A while back we brought you an early image of one of the life forms we could be seeing in this film. Well…hold onto your hats folks ‘cos we now have a newer and decidedly clearer image and boy does it look hot, smoking hot in fact!!!
