Besson retires!

Director Luc Besson, who gave us "Leon", Subway, The last Battle, La Femme Nikita and well, we could go on couldn't we? Has announced his retirement from filmmaking. His tenth feature film "Arthur et les Minimoys", will be released in France on December 13th. Talking to radio station RTL he said "They are my 10 little babies, I love them all. I am pleased to have completed this cycle. That is finished."

Once retired from filmmaking Besson is going to go on to do community and civic work, helping youth groups.

We aren't sure how we feel about this, because he is a Director of real polars to us, some of his stuff is absolutely groundbreakingly wikkit! But some - is a very good cure for insomnia.
